Friday Free Practice 1 and 2 for the Indian Grand Prix.

FP1 started out with dust covering the majority of the track and persisted in being problematic for the drivers throughout both sessions, the red flag was
called out when a dog found its way onto the track but Chandhok was able to avoid it. There were a few problems Alonso stopped and watched replays of himself on
one of the large trackside tvs and Maldonado had an engine failure. Lewis and Perez were reprimanded and both received grid place penalties for going too fast
during yellow flags.

Massa was able to return to form in FP2 and out pacing the rest but will this show of speed translate to qualifying tomorrow. Maldonado had further problems by
spinning out and becoming trapped in gravel meaning a very short and unsuccessful friday practice.

Many of the drivers and teams displayed marks of respect for Dan Wheldon and Marco Simoncelli.
